Hi

Several decades ago I read a short story (SF of course) which was
written in the style of Robert SIlverberg, theme being Marco Polo's
death and gradual dispersal of his mind/soul/memories through the
cosmos as a final wave front travels past the sun the planets and
finally into interstellar space. It was remarkably well written and I
do suspect it was by Robert Silverberg but he has been so prolific I
cannot find it under his authorship.

Any ideas please?

This doesn't strike a chord with me, but you might try
rec.arts.sf.written if you get no luck here.

Thanks, but I found it with help of Google. It was "Travels" by
Carter Stolz.

Cheers
