SF movie/tv-show from my childhood - what is it?

This might seem rather unspecified but I have a distinct memory of
watching a SF movie or tv-show broadcasted on swedish television during
the early 80s. It was not a swedish production so that's why I am asking
here.

All I can really recall is that there was a man or boy who used a spoon
to short ciruit/disable a robot. It was in color. It took place on some
kind of spaceship. I know this question is really lacking some concrete
information - but it's all I've got. The above mentioned scene has really
stuck with me for close to thirty years now and I hope someone knows what
I am talking about.

Nothing more? Was it aimed at children or adults? Horror or comedy?
A more precise date? Surely you know if you were ten rather than
thirteen when you saw it?

I'm born in 1970 and watched a lot of .se television in the early
1980s ... but sorry -- I can't recall such a scene.

The SF TV series around that time I remember the best is the norwegian
/Blindpassasjer/ http://no.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blindpassasjer_(TV-serie)
which was like a scary mix of the Star Trek episode /Wolf in the fold/
and /Alien/ (which it predated). No robots in that one though -- at
least not the kind you can short-circuit.

I was born in 1981. I can't recall when I saw this show but it would be
when I was around 4. That means it would've aired on swedish television
around 1985.

The problem is that I was really young so I can't recall anything more
than the scene when the robot is disabled. I knew this was a huge long
shot when I posted it. Perhaps I should contact SVT and ask them for a
listing of SF series/movies they aired in 1985 and try to go through it
all.

I'll check out the norwegian series and see if it jogs my memory, thanks
for helping me out.

Ah, that makes it harder. Four-year-olds are a bit different. (If you
weren't allowed to watch adult TV then, it narrows it down.)

If they have categorized listings like that, it might work. Otherwise,
try contacting some older fan, like Ahrvid Engholm. Although if it was
only marginally SF, probably noone cared about it.

So I don't know if it was swedish or (more likely) something from the UK
or US. It might have been Dr. Who for all I know. I can't remember the
circumstances surrounding it - my mom or dad probably didn't think it
would register with me :-)

I wish I could remember more but alas. I'll check with SVT and see if
they have a record of SF broadcast during the mid 80s.

Thanks a lot for taking the time to help me out with this.

Though not quite on-topic, you might try rec.arts.sf.written. There's a
huge knowledge of old sf in that group.
